As it should be! Had we not gone to a Motorhome, we would have bought a Riverstone. Best 5th wheel FR Makes!

Thanks to the admin group for making a Riverstone thread! It will make my decisions to switch from SOB front LR to Riverstone easier (front living room models have very small basements; no matter which brand you look at). RS Owners, keep those comments coming (both positive and negative). We are hesitating on buying one over 42 feet long because we like going to state and national parks that don't accept ones that long. Have looked at the 34SLE as well as the rear kitchen model in Millersburg before they were shipped. Our ultimate choice would be either the 38RE or rear kitchen model in a 38 or 39 foot length, but not sure what would be "left out".

Hi millman75 , what did you think of the 34SLE? Curious to know if there is enough counter space. From the pics I have looked at the island seems small. We really like that the fridge and w/d are not in a slide.

I liked the fact the 34SLE is coming with the same suspension and frame as the 42 foot models (Goodyear H rated tires, 17.5 inch wheels, disc brakes). Also, the listed CCC is a whopping 6777 lbs with GVWR at 21000! Obviously due to the same frame and suspension on a smaller unit. Hitch weight is listed at 3108. Total length is listed at 37'9". 18' awning, 2x30 lb propane tanks, 95 gallon fresh water, 41 gallon black and 82 gallon grey. I got the drawing and specifications when we went to Millersburg.
You are correct in your comment about lack of counter space; there is a little on the left side of the stove and microwave, and it is right up against the theater seats. We were also not wild about the "slate appearance" on the angled entertainment center (same as in the 39FK), but our factory sales rep said they could substitute another material. There didn't seem to be an issue in watching the 60" TV from anywhere on the 80" sofa or from the theater seats. Large window directly behind the theater seats, sofa, and windows on either side of the sofa. Windows on side and in front of dinette.

jlsr, just comparing the 34SLE pictures against the drawing, the drawing had the induction cooktop directly underneath the microwave, but the pictures of the model show that they moved the cooktop over closer to the theater seats, leaving the counter space under the microwave.

Thank you so much Millman!! Can't wait to actually see one in person. Th ccc on it is awesome !! We have a 37' Columbus now so the length on the 34SLE is perfect. Plus it's a legacy which we would love to have. I think we can live with the short island. When we get closer to purchase time will ask about a fold down extension for the island. Maybe they can do something like that ? 18" extension would solve the problem. We love this model !
