Towing 39RKFB Riverstone

First, we are new to the site and new owners of a 2019 Riverstone39RKFB.
My question is:
Does anyone pull there Riverstone with a 3/4 Ton Diesel? I purchased a 2019 Riverstone and will be picking it up soon. We have a 2017 Super Duty Diesel and are on the fence if this will be enough truck. Thanks in advance for the comments.

You're going to be over rated weight by a ways. Especially payload.

Looking at the GVWR of that 5er being 19000 lbs, I wouldn't even tow it with a 1 ton Single Rear Wheel truck.

That's dually territory.

Yep. It can be done with a one ton, but it's a way better ride with a dually. I've done it with both trucks and wouldn't go back to SRW.

As has already been posted, thatís dually territory. Pin weight will be close to 4,000lbs.

Would you think Air bags on Dually would be needed or would help? I have owned 5 - 5th wheels just none of them weighing as much as this one.

Not needed on a dually. Not sure if it would help, but definitely not needed.

Heck yeah, air bags are needed. I have 'em on my dually and they help the ride a lot. I can adjust via remote, on the fly.

But they don't do anything to assist with payload or towing.

Go look at your yellow door jamb sticker. It says Cargo Carrying Capacity. I'd bet yours is around 2,500, give or take. Since I bet your pin weight is 3,500 plus or minus.........you are over payload before you even count fuel, passengers, 5th wheel hitch, or cargo in truck.

As I said in beginning of thread we were on the fence about weather to keep the 3/4 ton or swap for a Dually. I am now convinced that a Dually is what we will go with. I suppose I just needed the reassurance that the 3/4 Ton would not be enough.
I have already contacted the Local Ram dealership and will be making the swap Monday for a Ram 3500 4x4 DRW.
Thanks for the quick replyís.
