MaxAir or similar fan in the NoBo 10.5/10.6?

I looked at a NoBo 10.5 this weekend and noticeably absent was a MaxAir style fan in the roof. I would definitely get one with the A/C, but would like a fan as well for cooler weather. Has anyone added one? Is there room on the roof with the rack and the A/C? I'm assuming you can use the A/C unit just for the fan but then it wouldn't draw air from outside would it?

Thanks.

I’d love to add one too, especially because the AC is ungodly loud.

I’ll watch with interest to see if anyone has found a place for one.

If you don’t get an answer here, you might try one of the several NoBo facebook pages - they are more active.

Happy camping!

I added a Ventline round exhaust fan with a PWM controller to lower the speed of the fan. Works great at pulling the hot air out fast and any moisture.

Oh that’s great! Did you do this yourself? What was the cost, if you don’t mind me asking.

Fan was bought from Amazon

Ventline VP-543 12V Smoke Van... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00407CK5W?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I installed it myself. Hardest part was routing the wires for the power. But just took about two hours to do.

My wife and I are considering a NoBo 10.6, but the ventilation issue is a show stopper for me. From pictures and videos I've seen it looks like the windows in the doors are simply glass panels and don't open. The two vents on the side will provide fresh air, but if you opt for the AC option there is no way to pull air out of the interior. The Ventline fan that Vyprdad installed would address this problem in a limited way, but a MaxxAir fan would be a preferable solution. The NoBo 10 series have so many great, well thought out features how in the world did an experienced RV designer miss this shortcoming? Or am I missing something?

The door windows both slide open to let air flow. They have screens and roll-up curtains. Hard to see in pictures.
