NoBo 19.5 dual battery box?

Anyone have experience with adding a second battery (and box), specifically on the tongue behind the propane tanks? All the dual boxes I have found are too long to fit in the space. While I am new to trailer life, I'm loving it, and am learning a lot. Thanks for any help!

We added dual 7 LB propane tanks and a dual battery box from RV Lockbox ( black diamond plate matched front of camper ) Our box did not fit in the old opening so we bought steel brackets from Home Depot and screwed them into the frame behind the propane tanks. Very strong and much longer battery life especially after adding the solar.

Usually only two 12v Group 24 or two 6v GC2 batteries.

Sorry I'm late to the thread here - been busy camping! In case you're still looking for tips, here's a link to a dual-battery mod I added to our NoBo 16.5...

Connected the two batteries with these 4awg cables:

Here's the battery box that matched the existing one on our NoBo:

I also added a multi-function panel on the kitchen cabinet to get a more accurate voltage reading:

Hope that helps! Have you already added your 2nd battery?

Thanks! Great, great info. Haven't added it yet, and probably won't now until spring. I have all winter to plan! Thanks again and happy camping!
