NoBo leaking

Well...we’ve taken our NoBo 10.6 for its first camping trip to a family campground for a trial run. One of the days brought some rain so we took shelter inside the unit. The “drivers side” door AND window leak. I don’t mean a few dribbles. They gush rain. We have not owned this NoBo for two full weeks yet so needless to say I’m unbelievably disappointed. For the price I would expect it to keep rain out.
Please tell me that you’ve dealt with this but that Forrest River made it right.
Thanks for any thoughts!

I'm not sure what CW is. We did buy it new, from a dealer about 90 minutes away from where we live. We have not had it for long so I am hoping that something like this is covered, but I'm not sure. The dealer already repaired some issues we had with the water tank leaking, and the work was a bit of a cob-job. Not a good start for me.

CW is Camping World.
You can use an independent RV shop or mobile RV tech for warranty work.
You just have to get pre-approval from FR and be willing to be reimbursed.
Did you research the dealer's service department before buying? That's more important than the sales department.

Thank you for the tips on repair! We will definitely look into a shop that is willing to put appropriate time and effort into a repair! (any idea how I can post the video? I click "attach files" in the additional options section, choose the file, then receive a message to attach videos in the video field. No idea where else that could be)
Thanks again!

sometimes self-help works better than dealer help...

setup in your driveway and arm yourself with a garden house...
or
maybe better is to setup at dark with someone with a strong flashlight or light source inside and someone outside looking for gaps in the door and window seals

Was the trailer leveled left/right and front/back when this happened? out of level might twist that door/window enough to cause gaps...

I will bet it is a simple solution.

Seems to me the window frames need to be removed and seals/putty redone.

Thank you all for the advice and feedback! We will try again on absolutely solid ground to see what happens. I don't want it to be poor craftsmanship, or the almost expected result of something that is mass produced. I'll give it a second chance before writing off the trailer/camper!
Thanks again!!!

how did this turn out for you?

I'm curious how the repair on this issue was resolved? Did you get a warranty repair taken care of? How long did it take?
