2012 Salem 393fkds/ slide vinyl

I was washing my home, (we are full timers), and noticed that the vinyl on the ends of each slide were wavy, top to bottom. I felt them and sure enough they seem to have some "give" under the vinyl, so I'm wondering how this vinyl is attached to the slide box. Has it separated from the plywood boxing? There is no leakage, no wet spots inside on the floor on either slide. It almost resembles a bubble in a rubber roof, but it's on the ends of each slide. I always assumed that this vinyl covering on the ends was glued or laminated to the slide box. Is it possible that it is just a skin that is placed over the plywood for looks, or do I have a problem? This is my 3rd Forest River product and I have never seen this before. Thanks for any help you can offer.
