2013 Salem QBTS electrical problems

Hello.. my electric solera awning will not retract back for me. The three slide outs will not move. Also leveling jacks will not move either...I've checked and reset the breakers in the panel. Also checked those fuses un the panel.... there are fuses under the refrigerator that go to a circuit board.. I believe these are for my LCI Remote... nothing works with my remote also... so I am at a loss for what what to do.. may have to have a mobile repair technician look at it...Any help would be great

Sounds like you have a dead battery.

Seems like a power problem if nothing is working. Are you connected to shore power, what is the state of the battery? Have you tried to ensure you are getting power?

Not sure on the Salem, but we have discovered on travel trailers that many times the Awning, slides, and stabilizers, and tongue jack are wired in a way that they are ahead of a battery disconnect. If the battery is decharged, or had a battery shutoff, then these items will not function......... irregardless of all the other 120 volt things or 12 volt items that run off the converter.

I would advise if you can trace the wiring from the battery, and see if you have a disconnect (or have you turned an OE disconnect on and forgot about it) that's not letting the converter recharge the battery.

Also you may have a resettable fuse that's tripped. Here is another forum with pics of it. You will need to press the little black button on the side of it. It's usually very near the battery itself on the frame railing.

Battery not holding charge in new 2016TT

Hope this helps and you have a simple problem.

There may be in-line fuses right off the battery for high current items

There is a green 20 amp fuse near the battery box. I didnt take it out and visually check it unfortunately. I am curious if there is a reset button somewhere I am missing....
