It depends a lot on your mount. I had to use a 29" because I wanted a swing arm mount. The problem is swiveling the TV to the bed room. Apparently the swing arm in the closed position holds the TV out too far to allow the swivel. 29" is plenty for us. That's what we were told. It may have worked with a 32". We just don't spend that much time inside anyway. Plus the 32" is outside for the ball games.
