We just picked up our 300BH after an exhaustive search for the perfect trailer. I think we found it!! Just a few issues. We have a few issues...because we are newbies. Our awning light won't go off. The switch on the panel does nothing. And our little remote thing that came with it for us to put the slides and such out...well there are no instructions. So confused. Help!!

The awning light must be turned on and off using the same device. If you turn the awning light on by using the panel switch, then you must use the panel to turn off. Same with the remote, use it to turn on you must use to turn off.

The remote comes with a standard code usually the code is 0000 - then you get a menu press the picture of the item - slides are listed as slide 1-2-3 , slide 1 is the large couch and dining, slide two is the bunk house and three is the kitchen.
The awning and the light.
Front and rear stabilizers

ID:	74090 Made our first long pull with our 300bh behind the 150 pulled fine except for a few hills I had to just be patient let it down shift and pull up it. Where all set up in Panama City and as I type this it's raining looks like it could be an all day event.

Thank you Lynn, it was 0000!! And you saved the day as far as figuring out our problem!! As for the lights, the dealer must have used the remote to turn them on as that is what turned them off. Even though they forgot to show us the remote at all. Whew, now we can get back to enjoying our trailer! Thank you!!!!

Your welcome, I've had mine for one year today. I've been to yellow stone and probably stayed in it for 4 months in various camp grounds. Grandkids love it also. If you have any other questions, I have become very familiar with all the little details.
The remote control switch box is behind the panel below the entrance coat cabinet. If your remote stops working and only clicks, it's probably just a fuse. I've had to replace two fuses in this box.

So, the only problem we had with the unit was the tablet was not synced to the unit to use outside of the camper. We finally found someone to help us with the problem and learned more from that person at Forest River in a 45 minute conversation than I did in the last 2 to 3 weeks, If anyone has any problems with their tablets, message me and I will forward on his information. (He told me I could.)

Finally got camping and had a lot of fun...no issues and I am set for quite a bit more very long weekends and over a weeks worth of camping
Found out that the only odd thing with the remote is the lights out side, seems if u use the remote turn them off then u need to use it to shut off. If u use the remote withe the slides or jacks you can use the controllers but it seems to take a few seconds to go to that operation
I am going to get another tire for a spare as ours didn't come with it.

I just got my 300 BH. I have it in Big Bear Lake. We love it. Only problem, water pump just spits. Tech suppose to come check it out this week.
Filled the fresh water tank, made sure hot water tank was full...Nothing. Put line on city connection side to clear air from the lines, worked great, ran it back off the fresh water side, same thing.
Just getting used to it, but we love it

Camped in our 300 bh 5 times list of things i found fixed or changed...
took vent cover off in back bedroom(hot water heater/furnace area) huge hole in floor on each side of furnace, took grocery plastic bags and spray foam to fill them in, incase you have to remove it, all the stuff is in the bag and not stuck to everything... Rear bedroom was always warmer. changed shower head to nicer one from rv supply store. Under outside kitchen sink is open to the linoleum on the floor, towed in rain and water ran all over the floor inside made a panel to cover that up. radio antenna wire was disconnected not long enough, there is another antenna plug on the tv/satellite hook up took out and snaked the wire down to the radio when hooked to cable you get 3 times the stations. took all screws out of my shower inside and replaced with stainless, factory screws are drywall grade and rust instantly. Under your shower door is not caulked to the plastic so if you're getting water on floor when you get a shower that's likely where its coming from. Moved the refrigerator thermistor down to the shelf closer to the door/warmer area now the fridge gets real cold. We put real type backsplash tile on from lowe's stainless and glass tiles and grout was in a caulking gun two hour project...look awesome. Got a 10 inch foam queen short mattress from ebay like $289.00 look inside the factory mattress you will die laughing.....your floor is constructed of two pieces of thin plywood 3/8 thick with 1 1/2 foam (SIP panel type) FYI I am handy with repairs if it rots, I have no idea how you would fix it. that 1 1/2 foam is the only insulation in the floor. Changed most bulbs to LED pods $25 bucks on ebay for like 15 or so. Under your slide out by the tires is raw plywood painted black I got the old hoover dam in a can (flex seal) and went all around and gave it a good coat and misc. rust spots i found. I also made an oak plywood cabinet to put my outside kitchen refrigerator in so now I have more counter space, and replaced the grill with a stainless one from sams club for $99 dollars....much better . think I got it all...hope this info helps someone else.
