Question 2015 Hemisphere 286RLT Hand Rail on inside steps

My wife had a nasty fall down the inside stairs last week and I was wondering if Forest River had adequate hand rails to help prevent this. There is one wooden one that is down quite low - it helps a lot when going up the steps. There is not one higher up for when coming down - you can't reach the lower one from the top step. If some units had two hand rails one above the other, this wouldn't be a problem.

My question is do some units have two hand grips or a longer railing? I have been looking into adding one, but not sure how to attach on the thin walls there.

Any thoughts or input appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

I just installed an exterior collapsible hand rail on our Salem Cruise lite. My wife needed the extra support going in and out of the trailer. I purchased one from the local RV dealership for about $35. This is not an interior rail, but it really helps going in and out of the trailer. Just a thought.

I installed it myself on the left side of the entry door closest to the door jam. It came with 4 screws that worked great. I worried a bit if the door frame would accommodate this, but it was solid and took the screws just fine.
