Hey Teddy Bear! Sorry you've going through this and that you've had such a bad experience with your camper. It sounds like others on here have also experience poor service and construction.
Let me tell you about my experience with Forest River. I bought a new 2013 V-Lite 30WRLTSA in September of the same year and got a smokin deal since the dealer wanted to get it off the lot to take delivery of the 2014s. We camped in it a couple of times and on the last time out we heard a scrapping noise when we engaged one of the living room slideouts. When the slideout when out it gouged the linoleum floor and we found that a screw that held in some of the underpinning had not been screwed in all of the way and tore up the floor.
Needless to say I was not the proverbial happy camper. I took it back to my dealer and he agreed that what caused it was poor workmanship by not driving that screw in all the way. He told me that the slideout would have to be removed and the repairs made and that he couldn't do it in his shop. He immediately contacted Forest River and they asked me when I wanted to send it back. We selected a date and delivered it to the dealer and Forest River sent a truck to get it and took it back to the factory for repairs in October of the same year. It was gone for 6 weeks, but when I got it back they had not only repaired that but also a quarter panel that I accidentally dented and a 4 other small issues that I had on the inside that were not warranty items. They also completely resealed the roof and put 4 new wheels on it. I was blown away at the kind of over the top service that I received and my dealer is also top notch and has always helped me with anything even after the warranty was over.
I know that stories like mine might be few, but I am extremely satisfied with the way that Forest River treated me and would not hesitate to buy another one.
Hopefully there are many more stories out there like mine. Happy Camping!
