Congrats Mikem. We have a 2014 of the same Hemi 282RK. We had a great season last year with is trailer. Be aware of a couple of things. Before extending the slide after towing, open it enough to walk between the dining table & sink to check that the rear pantry doors have not opened. The latches are not secure enough. We destroyed a pantry door when it caught the edge of the slide while extending.
Remove the panel under the bathroom sink & check to flexible hoses for the outside shower. One of ours was linked.
Check all accessible plumbing fittings as with all trailers. We added solar power generation & 2 6-volt golf cart batteries. LED bulbs are next as we camp at several unserviced parks here in Newfoundland.

Sorry for the typo. The outside shower hose under the bathroom vanity was kinked not linked.

Welcome, you'll really love the 282RK. My only wish is that they would have made it a foot longer in the bedroom, or put the bed on a slide to give a little more leg room in the bedroom. The late 2015s and 2016s have modified the dresser in the bedroom and made it a little shallower but not quite enough IMO.
Other than that, we couldn't have found a better tt that fits our needs.

Used my RV for the first time and was sitting at the campsite and the big picture window behind that recliners just shattered without anything hittting it and i was wondering if anybody else had that problem

I have the same camper, a 2014 model, what if any type of roof conditioner and caulking has anyone done on their roof yet please.

We use Camco RV roof cleaner and we don't use any kind of sealers on our hemi 282 RK
