31 KQBTS newbie questions

I just got a Salem 31KQBTS and have camped in it for one weekend. I have a couple of questions for those in the know.

1. Any recommendations for upgrading, or at least making the beds in the bunkhouse more comfortable? Will egg crate help?

2. Doing my first boondocking trip for 2 days next month. Any idea on how long the residential fridge will run on the factory battery? It's a DC24M with 550 CCA and 140RC.

Thanks in advance, we love the camper so far.

For the mattresses, either some thick toppers or a new thicker mattress. Something like this : https://www.mattressinsider.com/memo...attresses.html

I do not boondock so I have no idea on the fridge.

Congrats on the new camper.

1 tip. Place some foam on the top corner of the livingroom slide. I am over 6 feet and had dented my head a couple mornings. I used the corner foam that is made for tables to protect children. Comes with double sided tape. My head is happier now.

You might want to test the frig/battery at home. We haven't boondocked with mine yet but ours came with two batteries due to the residential frig. Many discussions on it on here.
