Are you guys pleased with your choice? Anything we need to keep an eye on? Thank you for the response.
We purchased ours January 31st, so we haven't had it out of the driveway yet. Unfortunately the Illinois weather hasn't been all that cooperative these past few weeks, but we are more than ready for a maiden voyage. We have been using our down time to do a few mods, restock, re-inventory all the "stuff", install the t.v., and get ready to hit the road. Hoping ( waiting impatiently
) in 2 weeks, as we are having a long weekend from work then.
We are very happy with our choice. Our previous camper was a Shamrock M-18 HTT, which we really liked a lot, but was wanting a bit more space than it offered. We, too, love the floor plan we now have. It works great. For us, a larger bathroom was a must, and I was impressed with how much more storage we now have. This could be a good thing and a bad thing, as many here will attest to. Although, we usually pack lite, so storage really never was an issue before for us.
It's mainly the 2 of us and our dog when we go. Usually friends have their own TT's, tents, etc. so the size suits us perfectly. Yes, we too, are hoping for a good long time to keep this as well. We have been looking at self contained for a few years but never came across one that really struck our fancy like this one has.
The main thing when you pick yours up make sure you ask a lot of questions, take notes, even a video if you can, when you do your PDI. This will help you immensely. Make sure they show you how everything works. Take your time. Then once you get it home you will have more time to explore and learn about your new TT. That's when the excitement really begins.
You will surely have questions, so utilize this forum to the greatest extent. It can serve you well. Best of luck with your new TT, and
