Andersen WDH on a 2017 Salem

I notice on the Andersen website that their hitch will not work with certain Atwood couplers. Does anyone know if the Andersen wdh will work on a 2017 Salem Hemisphere 23rbhl?

I ordered the hitch.. Sent ANDERSEN a picture of the coupler on my SALEM.. they said it would work fine. Looking forward to the easy set up and maint.

What tools are needed after the initial set up and install?

Depending ... You might want to get a real socket with a ½" drive ratchet handle for the WDH bolts.

You'll want a 1/2" drive ratchet to tighten the chains. That's about the only tool you need. The hitch will come with a socket, 1/2" drive to fit the nuts.

Extra socket and a long handled ratchet

We love the easy on/off with the Andersen, and as a Type A / OCD guy, I also carry a spare socket and ratchet, just in case I leave one on the bumper or tongue and drive off. (Again!) A quick visit to Harbor freight and a set of 1/2 inch deep sockets is handy for other things, too (lug nuts, hitch bolts, anode rod, heater element, etc.).
