Is it in a place a TV could go, looks like it could be a TV mount.

It's a tv mount which allows for easy slide in slide out of tv. There is a matching metal mount which attaches to the back of your tv and slides/interlocks into this one. I have one of these on the exterior of my Puma. Love it

Does anyone know where I can purchase a bracket like the one shown above? My bracket came with the trailer and I've searched for another with no luck. Thanks

My tt has one outside as well as the fold down one in the bdrm. With the LR one and another set up in the bunk house I have more TV hook up possibilities per sq ft in the tt than in the house ... And this is called camping. lol

Thanks guys it is indeed a TV mount. I called Forest River and they do not use this style mount any longer. The prior owner saw fit to take the television and wall mount with them

At least you know where the reinforcement is to safely mount a flat screen yourself!! You won't have to guess!

A big thank you to JFM who mailed me the above bracket out of the goodness of his heart. Heck he didn't even want me to reimburse him for the shipping. Lots of good folks in this community. John, from one camper to another, thanks!

No problem glad to see it go to good use instead of taking up wall space needlessly in my bedroom. We are fortunate to have internet forums so we get to meet fine folks with common interests. Enjoy the upcoming camping season!

Try your RV dealer for obtaining the mount, both the wall and television mounts. We got an extra mount for the television from out dealer when we bought out TT in Jan. If you can't find one anywhere else try Leach Camper Sales in Council Bluffs, IA 1-800-289-3861, ask for Bob in Parts.
