Black water drain too low

We have a 2016 24' Salem*241QBXL with a serious design flaw.* Although I try to be careful. almost half the entrances or exits at gas stations, WalMarts, etc. rip off the drain pipe cover because the pipe is near the rear and too close to the ground.* After replacing multiple covers, I'm leaving it open for the extra fraction of an inch of clearance (and not to pay for yet another cover).* Is this the only model that has this problem and does anyone have an idea on how to fix it? Thanks.

Yep. Same problem on our 261. Had a lift kit installed at our dealer for about 300 bucks. Gives us a couple of inches more clearance. We had to adjust our hitch setup on our truck due to the height difference and we also added a two step from the stock 1 step for climbing up into the trailer. No noticeable difference in towing even with slightly higher center of gravity.

Royskee, Thanks a million for your reply. So.... I'm not crazy ! It's not my imagination that the drain pipe is too low. Wouldn't this be a manufacturer's design flaw ? I'd love to hear opinions about this.
Thank you RVers! 💖

Today, our dealership repair man said that there was NO way to improve or fix the low hanging drain pipe. Royskee,
we appreciate your suggestion. This seems like a manufacturer's defect for which the company should take responsibility.
SUGGESTIONS PLEASE. Thanks.

I should have mentioned that I was talking about an axle lift kit. By doing the lift you gain the clearance at the back of the trailer to prevent hitting the sewer outlet. Your RV service center should know about these kits. I've talked to many people who have done it. I think quite a few low trailers have this problem. Simple and cheap for mfg'ers to put the sewer pipes back here. Bad design, yes and seems it wouldn't be that hard to move the pipe forward a few feet just behind trailer rear axle. Good Luck!
