Black water tank

This is my first travel trailer and we will be going camping in it for the first time in a couple of weeks. The campsite is electric only. They do have a dump station though. I am going to be able to fill my fresh water tank. So, I was going to put a toilet bowl or two of water into the black tank with one of the deodorizer bags in it. Just in case there is an "emergency " bathroom situation and had to use it. If we end up not using it, is going to be ok to leave that water in there for a couple of weeks until we go camping again ?

Perfectly fine and actually, a practice you are going to want to get in to.

Never drain the black tank completely without adding back in several gallons of water and deodorizer of your choice except at the end of camping season if/when you winterize.

Good to have it slosh around. A few trip out, I dumped and back flushed before leaving the resort. Back home about 400 miles, I hooked a clear fitting between hose and fitting and flushed again. WOW, water color told me it's a good thing to slosh a few gallons.

Been putting in a couple of capfulls of Calgon water softener. I understand it helps to keep the black tank walls cleaner when draining.
