I'm a gadget guy... I'm all for upgrades... but I can't see flushing money down the toilet for this issue. Others have pointed out ways to try to make the crap sensors work. But mostly just know your usage patterns.

Now if the crazy sensors would not only monitor but also send out text alerts that would be a difference maker. My in-laws had a stuck toilet lever and their camper flooded... what a mess. If they had received text alerts at 50%, 75%, 90%.. they would have known something was up and went back and checked to see what was going on.

Was it hooked up to city water? That's yet another reason I turn the city water faucet off when leaving.
