Camping near St. Louis

Does anyone know of a good campground near St Louis? We would like to stay for 4 nights around July 4th.

We stayed at the Casino Queen RV Park. It was a little expensive for what it was (glorified parking lot with full hookup RV spots and some gravel between sites) at $50-ish per night. But, for access to St. Louis and a view of the Arch, it was good. We stayed there a week in July or August.

It's usually very hard to get into the Casino Queen over 4th of July, but with the construction going on at the Arch and the fair and fireworks having been moved to Forest Park, you can probably do it.

Is there someplace in particular you want to be? There are good options at 370 Lakeside Park in St. Peter, Babler State Park, KOA near Six Flags.

We booked at Cahokia RV Parque. This is in Illinois and is 4 mines or 7 minutes away from the Arch.

Don't know if you've been to the Cahokia Indian Mounds, but they were a very cool visit. Once my kids got over the fact that we were going to go see hills, they actually enjoyed themselves.
