Great privacy curtain and sliding door mods. Your sliding door is done so nice it looks like it came from the factory that way. When I can get to it, I'm going to follow your lead. Will make our sliding door a little wider. Access to our spare tire would be so easy for tire pressure checks/filling and getting to our camp chairs & stuff. We would seldom remove the spare but if needed can always lift the bed.
Our best mods have been a 4 inch firm memory foam mattress, dual propane tanks, a TV mount and a catalytic converter mounted on the cabinet panel left of the refrigerator.
Thanks again for sharing all your pics!

Rtidwell, like the stereo addition. Are those cabinet panels strong enough to hold the stereo and speakers, or did you put something behind them to strengthen?

I didn't put anything behind the speakers except for some foam baffles. The speakers seem to be very stable.

Cruise Lite 195BH Owners Thread
Camp4two- is there a way to move the subject guide that you made to the top of the discussion?
Thank you for doing that. It's very useful.

I added externally mounted levels to the frame. I put one on the frame just below the front of the trailer on the driver's side so that I can step out and see it and then know if I need to drive up on some leveling blocks or not and then I put another on the side frame between the door of the trailer and the front so that I can turn and see when level as I am cranking the tongue jack. I tested a number of places to get my trailer level before adding the external level. I tested several places on the kitchen counter and several places on the floor. None showed the same, but all were pretty close. I also checked several places on the frame under the trailer. Again, it was difficult to find something that made me know the trailer was truly level as everywhere gave just a little different reading. I just picked something and went with it.
The reason I added the levels to the frame was that I did not like the stick on kind as they seemed to move around some. Also, I just did not want four more screw holes in the side of the trailer to have to reseal every so often. I just used some small self taping screws.

I usually just use a 4" level on the floor in front of the door. It just doesn't "look" or "feel" level like that, though.

I have one in the center of the rear bumper and the side one mounted on the outside electrical outlet.

You got two levels to do. Side to side first and front to back second. For the refrigerator to work best it must be level. I use a torpedo level to level the refrigerator both inside the refrigerator on the bottom and on the countertop directly above the refrigerator. I also use the torpedo level to check the top of the rear bumper (left and right sides) for side to side leveling. A visual of how the water is sitting in the toilet bowl is also good way to see how level the trailer is at the rear.

Mounted with exterior grade double-sided tape to the front panel of the camper so I can see it in the rear view mirror. Insert Anderson Leveler on the low side and back the camper up until its level in the rear view mirror...enjoy the truck's a/c instead of stacking blocks.

I just joined the 195BH owners club. Its a great little trailer. I did notice that one of the roof vent lids has a hairline crack and needs to be replaced. Does anyone happen to know the hinge type, etc used by these particular trailers? I would rather have the correct part beforehand then remove it and go to the dealer...
Great video on how to replace here:
Would this part work? This Amazon page includes a picture of the different hinge styles:

Please give us some more details about your 195BH:

Hopefully other 195BH owners can chime in to help you with your roof vent lid replacement.

Thanks for the welcome...Oh yes, details, details....
2013 Salem 195BH
My issue is with the living room vent cover. Neither is power anything, no fans, just the stock vent... The living room and bathroom appear to be the exact same.
I had a link to amazon in my first post, but looks like that sorta stuff gets stripped here...

I have the 2014 Salem 195bh. Looked at my vents and found Ventline VD0434 printed on the screen inside. Not sure if that helps but I can't get to the top without removing my vent covers
