It could be, though I have my unit in my driveway leveled front to back and side to side. We had like 2 inches of rain today and its still only a small puddle in the same area. It generally evaporates pretty quickly after the sun comes out. Guess i'll just leave it alone for now unless something comes up.

Can anyone tell me the height from the tip of trailer tongue to the ground when camper is level?
I'm thinking of flipping my truck hitch over to make it sit a couple inches lower when towing but would like to check measurements before dealing with it.

I can let you know in 2-3 days (our trailer is at RV storage facility). Are your trailer tires 14 or 15 inch? Our tires are 15 inch so when level our measurement from ground to the tip of the trailer tongue would be a bit higher if your tire size is 14 inch.

More feedback anyone (include your 195/196BH tire size).

I have the 14" tires. I've tried to google the answer without much luck.

Here are a couple photos of my 195BH coupler measurement.

With my trailer level, the height from the ground to the top of my trailer coupler is 23-3/4". Generally, the TV's hitch ball is placed as close to the top of the trailer coupler as possible.

Deduct 1" for my 15" tires and your trailer's coupler height should be approx. 22-3/4" for your 14" tires.

Hope this helps.

There should be an interior panel you can access in the area of the water heater. You will need to remove the screws. On my until the screws look like Phillip screws but are not. Sorry but I don't recall the name of those type screws.

I have a 2014 model. My water heater can be accessed by removing the fake wood panel at bottom of the pantry cabinets. Remove those two screws and the panel comes off. I'd check all the pipe connections there.

You didn't state if you have the rooftop AC or the window style side AC. I have the window style AC in the side above dining table. I had water dripping inside at one point. I removed the bottom wood trim piece and found the tray under the unit to catch water and drain outside had a slight crack in it allowing water through. A small piece of waterproofing tape sealed that. Then put the wood trim back on and problem was solved.
All AC units produce water, it's just a matter of finding out why it is draining inside the unit.

Thank you

Thank for your help and replying. I will try your suggestion. Do you know where we can buy the tray for the air conditioning unit? Our unit does not have the tray.

I don't. Maybe tray wasn't the right word. It looks like some sort of overflow drip pan thats just part of the unit. Here is a picture of mine. Is that slim piece under the unit I have arrows pointing too. The small silver square on the left side is the waterproof tape I put over the crack. Click image for larger version

Ktsmom, did you change to a double step on your 2014 camper? If so what step did you use?
I have the 2014 model and ordered the same step model that Camp4two used but it doesn't fit. My brackets and previous step mounting brackets measure 25" wide. The LC341500 measures 25-1/4" and causes it not to fit.
I can't find a double step that will fit, other then maybe the SFMP-2120 in the link below. But it measures 23-5/8" and I'm worried it will be to narrow to reach brackets. It also only has 20" wide steps instead of 24" which is kind of a downer.

I bet there's a way to turn the page numbers into hyperlinks. I'll try to find a way, someday.

I am familiar with hyperlinks in other applications, but the Quick Reference Guide Categories are cross referenced to Comment (Post) numbers vice page numbers.

I think you can divide the post/comment number by 10 (or the posts per page) and round up to get the correct page number.

We just purchased a Wildwood Xlite 196bh. I am pulling it with a 2008 Honda Ridgeline. We had a 99 Jayco Laurel popup camper for several years. That popup camper is one of the bigger popups with a 12 foot box. This camper only weighs about 1000 lbs more than the popup. Pulling it home wasn't an issue, but I didn't try to push it to much. Getting ready to start adding some mods to it. The first trip is Fathers Day weekend.

Welcome to the group! We tow with a 2008 dodge durango and have had no issues. What mods are you thinking about? My first recommendation is the grab bar for the screen door, cheep and easy install and make a big difference especially if you have small kids.

The screen door bar is a must. I have 8 and 5 year old girls. So, I want to protect the screen door. We have added a tension rod caddy in the bathroom to hold the bathroom stuff when we get there. Not during travel. I put Velcro on the remotes so that I won't lose them and hung them beside the radio. This weekend, hopefully, I want to build a shelf in the cabinet to the left of the refrigerator and in the cabinets on each side of the AC unit, above the dinette. The cabinet beside the refrigerator is just one big cabinet. I would like to be able to put the coffee pot, griddle, etc. in that cabinet. My wife added a long mirror on the back side of the bathroom door.
