Great information to have a spare toilet water valve. Besides maybe an annode rod, are there any other parts you suggest keeping as a spare?

The other parts I keep are light bulbs, batteries, fuses, all the tapes (duck, Teflon, electrics), and waterproofing aluminum tape (in case of roof or body leak).
I've been meaning to keep one of these around in case there is ever a drain leak but haven't got it yet.

Camp4two, before your long voyage have you tried filling up your FW tank and then traveling? The first time I filled it full and traveled to boondock when I got there the tank was down to 1/3.
Apparently they put the vent hose in the wrong place that allowed water to run out while driving.

Our FW tank has always been emptied before traveling so far. I read the threads in your post on FW loss when traveling. Looks like I might be in for a potential big FW loss unless FR fixed the overflow pipe on later model 195BH trailers.

I'll do a test on our FW tank during our long haul trip in May and report the results back to you.

Our TV wheels was due for regular rotation & balancing. Decided to take our three 195BH trailer wheels for balancing as well. Our trailer wheels did not come balanced from the factory (likely most trailers do not). All three trailer tires required weights on both front and back wheels (see photo).

For a smoother ride, better tire wear and to minimize wear on your wheel bearings, it is a good idea to get your trailer wheels balanced. Wife and I are going on a 2,000 mile tow in May and want to be sure our wheels and tires ready for this trip.

Hi daybreak, Was off the grid with our trailer a few days and unable to reply. The LEDs for all interior lights are T10 wedge type socket. The porch light LED is #1156 regular socket. We use bright white T10s for the bathroom and kitchen and warm white for all other interior lights.

No problem I was at work when I had asked but was able to check the numbers and mine say 921, the ones I found on amazon are 921/T15. Are they the same? I was going to buy a 12 pack and they would all be white so cooler color than the warm yellow of the incandescent ones in there now. Not sure how I feel about the color but my main goal is to have them not heating up so much. Opinions please.

Yes 921 is the original interior bultb number, but our replacement LEDs were T10/921 not T15/921. Don't know if T15/921 will fit. Anyone know?

I can't make the Amazon link work here but search Amazon for <Autosaver88 4x Super White T10/921 LED light bulb>. These are the LEDs I put in the bathroom and kitchen.

Yes, the original bulbs are way too hot. Also, the LEDs use very little battery power when dry camping.

Glad to help. BTW I also replaced our trailer lights with LEDs to get brighter turn signals and stop lights. The original and LED bulb number is 1157.

Great info on this thread. We also just bought our first TT. 2016 195 BH. Can't wait to use it! We'll actually be between houses this summer and will end up living on the road with myself, the wife, and 3 kids under 4! Sound like fun??

Anyway, we'll be traveling all over Utah. Some time we'll be at sites with hook ups, other plugged into houses of family, but some time will be dry camping. I have seen some affordable used 4000W champion generaters online. Any thoughts? Will that be enough to run the AC? Also came across a 60 watt solar panel system to keep the batteries charged for $150. Worth the money?

Congratulations on your new 2016 195BH and welcome to this forum. You and your family surely have some adventures ahead of you. Utah is a great state for camping.

Generators: We thought about it and decided the cost/weight/fuel to carry/Park restrictions on the times you can use them/some noise outweighed using solar panel(s) and a power inverter. But for your family of 5 it may be a good choice to run your appliances when dry camping, especially for several days.

Solar Panel(s)/inverter: We have yet to buy solar panels or an inverter. My research and talking with my trailer friends has us thinking about a Renogy 100w Foldable Solar Suitecase and a Go Power or Micro Solar pure sine 1000w inverter. We have two Group 27 deep cycle batteries.

Wife and I have not dry camped (yet) more than 4 consecutive days and just one of our two batteries worked fine for that period (we did not need to use our A/C, microwave or furnace). We have decided if we are going to need our A/C we will use hookups.

Hope this helps. Also, lots of great info in this forum on generators and solar systems and just about everything else.

DW and I bought our 195BH last February.

We just completed a 2K mile trip through NV, UT, CO, NM and AZ. We camped 11 nights both with hookups and dry camping. We had no issues with our trailer. Only negative was the 40 MPH sustained cross winds from the Grand Canyon to Kingman, AZ for about two hours. Got poor MPG but our WDH worked beautifully. It towed great, hardly any sway.

We dry camped 4 days at the Grand Canyon. Our fresh water tank was full at arrival. It would have needed a refill on the 4th day but we did not have to do it (we returned home). We learned to conserve our fresh water tank by using a water bottle to flush our toilet after a pee. Our 27 Group battery went from 12.8 to 12.4 volts over the 4 days. We used only the water pump, water heater and interior lights. We never used the furnace (the blower is the biggest battery drain). Instead, I installed a propane Camco Olympian Wave 3 catalytic converter. Kept it on the low setting and it worked great. Our Grand Canyon temps was mid 70s and low 40s.

In summary, this has been a GREAT trailer for us two. Many more trips planned this summer. Will keep updating this thread as we continue our journeys in our 195BH.

We use the bunks for storage, primarily our clothes. DW has the bottom one, I use the top one. When we travel with our bikes we put one on the lower bunk (front wheel off) on old towels and one secured on the floor (front wheel off).

We have also used the two bunks as beds when family visited. We both thought this bunkhouse floorplan offered the most flexibility/options (for two) of all the FR trailers of this size.

We are a family of 3, we use the top bunk for storage too. Mainly dirty laundry.
When our daughter gets older we have the bunks for a friend to come along, if we haven't upgraded by then.

We have a WW X-Lite FS 195BH and took it to an RV park for the first time last weekend. One thing my wife and I noticed was the overhead A/C (upgrade over the window unit) is VERY loud! We can barely hear the TV with the A/C on. Is this normal?

Also, we are finding out real quick that this trailer is too small for our family of 4. We really wish our RV dealer wouldn't have suggested this one to us. She hates it so much that she wants us to sell it. I like the RV lifestyle but if my wife isn't happy no one is.

Also is there a way to install stabilizer jacks on the front? We noticed how easily the trailer shakes up near the bed due to not having stabilizers there.
