Love the awning lights, question though, are the hard wired to constant powers with a switch or just plugged in to an outlet when you want them on?

I have come up with 2 maybe crazy mods just wondering if anyone has tried these...
1) installing tankless water heater to replace lp 6 gal tank, thoughts??
2) installing sunroof/front window over bed? Curved so maybe too difficult?

Just a couple things my wife and I have though might make it more enjoyable while camping but maybe difficult to install. Love to hear everyone's thoughts.

Happy 4th everyone!!!

Added an easily accessible outdoor TV:

I know a lot of people are anti-TV but we normally watch classic movies at night

I also used Eternabond on on the roof seams. No pics but I highly recommend this stuff.

How is that outdoor tv mounted there?

Can anyone tell me what this vent is for? It's above the dinette area. I have a 120v only fridge and the window unit AC. So I can't figure out what this vent is for, other then providing a place for wasps to nest

Can't be. It's on opposite side and my fridge is electric only.

There is nothing connected to this vent (that I know of). The fridge definitely isn't connected to it. It's just a small bar fridge that slides in and out under the counter top.

I noticed in the picture that TN_Cruise_Lite posted the rust on the heads of the fasteners holding the door hinge. I have some like that on the windows. Some have rust and some do not. I guess I am a little concerned that these heads will at some point rust off. As anyone else had that issue, and if so have you done anything about it?

Upcoming Thread Improvements

First, THANK YOU everyone for making this thread such a great success. Since we started this thread in Feb 2016 it has grown to over 7,600 views and 125 replies. Awesome!

We have a couple improvements we plan to make:

1. Thread Title Change. I plan to contact the Site Team next week to change the thread title from "2016 Cruise Lite 195BH" to "Cruise Lite 195BH Owners Thread." We have a lot of 195BH owners with various model years contributing/viewing this thread so a more general thread title is appropriate for the long term. We also have a lot of other trailer owners that contribute/view this thread and we welcome anyone.

2. Build a Quick Reference Guide. I plan to build a Quick Reference from all the replies to make it easy for anyone to locate a topic. Every 6 months or so I will update the Guide. The comments may apply to any trailer. It would look something like this (example only):

Category/Comment #s
Interior LED lights/25-31, 46, 47, 75-79
Exterior LED lights/28, 32-34,
TV Mounting/38-41, 89-91, 102, 104

Before going forward, we appreciate your feedback to these improvements and/or any other thoughts, ideas you have.

Love this idea for when tailgating, never thought there was enough room there. Is that a 19" TV? Do you have any links to the bracket or TV you used?

Yes it's a 19" and I believe they both came from Walmart and both were really cheap. They were in our office doing nothing when I decided to give it a try. The TV is currently just connected to a player inside but I see no reason why it couldn't be connected to the antenna/cable with a splitter.

Didn't notice that till I posted the pics, guess it's time for some stainless replacements. Think I'll try to get the decals off the back of the fridge and maybe paint the walls around the fridge black too.

Sounds great, that's why I love this camper, it just begs to be personalized. My only real complaint is the tinfoil exterior cause it's accumulating some dents after all our travels.

195BH TV Mount

Last April we installed a 24" Vizio TV in our 195BH using Master Mounts Locking TV Wall Mount, Model 403L. It fits great and locks up the TV out of the way for travel. Can see the TV from any location.

Materials used:
3/4"x12"x15" pine back support board.
4ea 1-1/4"x10 wood screws for the support board.
3ea 1/4"x20x2" machine bolts (tapered head to fit the wall mount holes).
3ea 1/4"x1 fender washers.
3ea 1/4" lock washers.
3ea 1/4" nuts.

Last April we posted this information to Golfnbike13's thread but we also wanted to post it here. Thanks again to Golfnbike13.

Cruise Lite 195BH Owners Thread

On that note, there is a RCA 20" LED with built in DVD player on Groupon for $100. I just ordered one to eliminate having a separate DVD player.
Plan to move the current one to the outside fridge cabinet like TN_Cruise_Lite did above for when tailgating at sporting events.
