Drawer under couch on 2013 26TBUD

When traveling, the drawer under the couch of my 26TBUD comes out and falls off the slides. To get around this, I use a clamp to keep it in place but I'm looking for a better solution. The clasp that FR used is way too weak to hold the drawer.. It pulls out even when completely unloaded and has done so since the day I bought it. Thankfully - it's the only problem I have had and it's been a great TT otherwise.

Anyone else having that problem? If so, have you found a fix more elegant than a Vice Grip clamp to hold it in place?

We have the exact same problem. We shove a couple pillows under the drawer. That's the fix. Terrible latch for the drawer.

We have 2011 26tbud, it does the same thing for us.

I just screwed the draw shut, never to be used again.

I have a 2011 30 kqbss that does the same thing. I'm going to try some heavy duty velcro.

We use an Irwin Quick Grip clamp to hold the drawer shut while we travel. It works pretty well when I remember to clamp it

How about the child-proof latch for cabinets- it could be mount inside the drawer with minimal effort. It would not be visible when the drawer is closed, and it would only allow the drawer to open about an inch without manually pushing on it. It would also be a cheap fix to an annoying travel problem.

I just bought a brand new 2015 and it has a latch that seems to work well. You could probably get one from a dealer or just a simple plastic latch from lowes. It isn't a very heavy duty latch

Had this problem since the second time I used he trailer. I use a bungee cord to hold it closed while traveling and simply remove it when I get to my destination. Works for me.

We have a 2011 TBUD and it does the same thing. Try those Magnet drawer locks used for child proofing. They can be used on all your cabinet doors/drawers and can be left in the unlock position when not traveling. Just keep extra magnet "keys" in your camper.
