First Camper: Cruise Lite 241QBXL!

Got the OK from the fiancee to buy our first camper. I grew up camping and it's great to start my own traditions. Shakedown cruise was to family land on Possum Kingdom...nice and safe in case anything went wrong. No major issues, just a few minor things. Most important lesson...chock tires before unhitching!...trailer WILL roll. Thank God my fiance was able to find rocks to put behind the tires while I held the hitch with one arm and the truck with the other.

I'm also getting ready to close on a 241QBXL. I've seen references to "PDI" which I can figure is the inspection but not sure what PD is. My dealer has told me he will go through all the systems and show me how to work them.

I'm curious if there are certain items to check that the dealer might not think about. In some posts I've seen problems with missing screws and such. I have a checklist made and have been through the unit twice now. Each time I think of more stuff to ask about but I want to be sure that I ask the right questions about things that might be more obscure than lighting the stove or the water heater etc. Any ideas for a proper PDI?

Thanks,
Marti

Pre delivery I think. You don't want to sign anything until after inspection.

That makes sense - both comments.

I rarely get accused of making sense.
Thanks

Make sure they show you how to winterize the unit and location of bi-pass valves for the water heater below the fridge. Also, consider installing accumulator tank near water pump under front bed. Will stop pump chattering. So far, we've enjoyed our 2015 Cruise Lite, but we've had to fix some things. Nothing serious though.
