Flushing water heater

Was wondering when I pull the plug to drain my water heater could I just leave it out to flush the debris from the water heater

And use one of these

You can buy an attachment for your hose that injects water inside the heater and and direct the crud out the plug.

Your heater at home has a drain on the bottom to remove the crud but the RV tank is not on the bottom, it leaves a bit of water in it when you remove the plug.

Most of them are a small hose or tube with a garden hose female attachment that you connect to your hose and flush out the debris.
