HDTV antenna on Salem 201BH

Hi there. New to the forum and loving my new trailer. I have a 201BH that on the rear of the unit are coax inputs for satellite and cable. I assume that I do not have an HDTV antenna then? On the inside of the unit there is no unit on the ceiling to raise or aim. Can someone confirm?

HDTV antennas are a well known marketing scam.
You can get a HD tv signal with rabbit ears antenna.
It's the tv that has to be HD, NOT the antenna.

We've been able to get HD tv with our regular Wineguard batwing antenna. Even on our old 2007 HTT's batwing.

Are you sure that no antenna was installed on your roof? It could be a bat wing style or a fixed non crank. Having a coax input for cable doesn't mean no antenna was installed. Take a picture of your roof.

I see the refrigerator roof vent. Your antenna is probably a round disc on a staff about 9Ē tall. You should have an area inside where the tv goes, either bedroom or living room with cable connections for your tv and an antenna booster button.

Thats the newer ant from FR..

See this post...

Its a good antenna IMO.. Did you turn on the booster button?

Replace TV antenna

It does not turn and is an omni and directional but its fixed..

If you prefer it 90 degrees the other way you can go on roof and loosen the bolts to turn it..
