Hello from Saskatchewan

I am the proud owner of a 2010 Salem 392FLFB. I found it at Happy Camper RV in Prince Albert for a decent deal. So far we have 3 nights in it since buying it this last week. It is going to be our "full timer" for a couple years while we get the schooling and other stuff worked out.

Only problem I have had so far is that silly corner shower door leaking!! any suggestions people? Oh and i guess the 20 gallon hot water heater (electric) not keeping up...

Welcome to the forums...and howdy neighbour I was looking to deal with Happy Camper, but they didn't have the unit I wanted in stock. So I drove all the way to Steinbach Manitoba to purchase our unit...there and back in one day (1500km), not the dumbest thing I have done ... but close.

The_Stuff,

Welcome to FRF.

That's a long, long trailer you've got there.

Good luck and keep us posted.

yes thats a long one! had to back it out of the dealers "show you how it works" bay because i could not make the turn out of the lot! it is 42' + the crew cab long box super duty pulling it. When I got it home it was interesting to get it backed in. Im at the end of a cul-de-sac until i can get a permanent spot for it.

Well, it's a camper. Not sure of the water heater size, haven't checked specs. Even if it is 20 gallons, you have to shower like you are camping. Get wet, turn water off, shampoo, turn water on and rinse hair, turn water off. Soap and wash body, turn water on and rinse, you are done. Some shower heads have an ON/OFF switch on them for this purpose, so you don't constantly have to adjust the water temp. We make it on a 6 gallon water heater this way. Live and learn, it is a camper.

supposed to be a 20 gallon in here but its electric. so it wont make the heat too fast. Also gf takes the hollywood showers.. she went through half the water tank in one shower..

howdy "TheSasks". Minards in weyburn wanted 2x the price i paid for my trailer.

Can't take Hollywood showers in an RV, remember, you're camping in the woods, not in Hollywood, at least for most of us. Looked at one of this the other week, just stuck my head in. Nice to park, but I'm sure, mean to tow. Just checked the specs, looks like 20 gallon electric water heater. You'll get used to it, you hope.

Just a quick question, where did you get the pull rite hitch and if you don't mind how much did you pay for it?
