hitch height

I just bought Salem Cruise Lite 201BHXL and E2 hitch. Does anyone know the hitch of the trailer? I would like to set up my E2 hitch, we pick up the trailer on firday, and the dealer has been all weekend. Thanks Ken

Take your trailer to a "relatively" level spot and unhitch it from TV. Using the tongue jack raise / lower the tongue until the measurement from the frame to the ground is the same in the front and back of your TT. Then measure from the ground to the top of the ball receiver on the TT -- that is your hitch height.

I have the same trailer and hitch, I'd have to measure. but just follow the instructions. It is pretty easy to set up, just time consuming(a few hours). I have A half-ton 2015 Chevy and I think I ended up using all but one of the washers to give you an idea of a starting point. I borrowed an 3/4 ton truck to go get the camper, so then I had time in the driveway to get the hitch properly set up. The receiver on mine is flipped up and one hole up from bottom. Also, you probably will have to notch the plastic propane tank cover to fit over the hitch bracket. Also, don't know what you are pulling with, but with a half ton or bigger watch how sharp you turn, the Salem has a short tongue.

22.5" to the top of the ball, trailer sitting level.
