Do u have a swing setting? This is another name for how wide the temp will fluctuate before cycling the hvac. Luxpro has it variable from 1 to 10 deg F

Negative ghost rider. The only settings I have are listed in the photos of the manual on post #12

Golfnbike,

I checked your install manual. I would recommend you go into the setup menu and go to option 3 to turn OFF adaptive intelligent recovery mode. Especially on a new thermostat this setting will turn off and on your system trying to anticipate how long it will take to get to and maintain the set temp. It's nice in a home setting however in an RV I think I would leave it off. Try that. Is this thermostat being used for heat only?

Sorry, that is option 6 based on the manual I was looking at. You press both the arrow buttons simultaneously and hold for 3 sec then cycle through the options by using the arrow keys. Do you have an option 6?

No, I only have the options with the star written beside them. The manual is for several different models. It is a heat only thermostat.

If not, I am out of suggestions other than returning it and purchasing an inexpensive Luxpro digital programmable off Amazon where you will be able to control the swing and cycle frequency. I had this setup on my hybrid where I was using it for the heat only function. I sold my Hybrid and transferred it for full usage on my new Windjammer with heat and AC

That's what I'm thinking. I'm just shocked because this one had so many good reviews from TT owners and Honeywell is a great brand. I may try it one more time before I uninstall it, but it's gotten so hot here I don't know if I can get the inside temp low enough to kick on.

I understand that. Sorry that happened to you. Make sure you have selected option 5 for gas. I know another post stated that but it's worth checking again. There is a possibility you have a defective thermostat also.
