Interested in buying a Salem 2003 26 BHSS TT

Can anyone tell me what you like and dislike about this camper. Any known problems about it? It seems a bit heavy for a 26' @ 5,700lbs dry. It is really getting close to the limit of my 1/2 ton which is 7,500lbs. Not sure why this 26' is so much heavier than most others. Please provide any comments you may have. Thanks.

From what I have been told a slide out could add up to 300 lbs, that is an super slide, it slides out 4'. I have a 8314 SS 2006 model and I just check into a new 8314 BSS same floor plan the only difference is that it has a second slide out and that is the bedroom and it weighs 300 lbs more then mine. From 6,600 to 6,900 and I think the tongue weight is a little heavier.
