Dunno where you are but I just did the same with mine. Hamilton, OH to Nashville KOA first night.........then about 7 hours west to home.

Other than bumpy roads, piece of cake. Hiccups, but no burps!

Congrats, and it'll all work out. I'm as newbie as you are! But ready to camp.

Good for you! I was out in my Cruise Lite last weekend, heading out again this weekend. Happy camping.

It runs about 5800lbs dry. I don't know what year and edition your f150 is. Tongue weight dry says 680 but I haven't weighed it yet. Sorry I'm not much help. Post up in the towing section with your truck info. People will be able to let you know.

Yep nothing but newbies here! We head out this weekend for first full outing. Have slept in and used everything but toilet and air... Glad your trip went well!

Thanks! Which model do you have? If it's in your signature line I can't see it with mobile site. Sorry

I have a 2011 Ford F-150 3.5L eco-boost. Not sure of the axle ratio...

I would research your vehicle tow capacity, your gvwr and your gawr. Start there and see if the numbers add up.

If you want a breakdown and answers quick, take this question over to the towing subsection and post there. I'm relatively new to this myself so I don't want to steer anyone in the wrong direction. I can tell you I went from a dodge Dakota 4x4 to a Ford F-250. Made me feel much more comfortable.
