Mattress ideas/recommendations?

We've camped 7 nights in our TT so far. I have been using two inflatable 3.5" camping pads (laid next to each other) on top of our Queen mattress and I sleep OK - but it is not comfortable.

Any recommendations on alternate mattress topper or replacement RV mattress?

Perfect harmony topper from camping world or Amazon. 2" if memory foam and 2" of pillow top. My dw likes our camper bed better then our sticks n bricks bed now.

I got a Mattress-in-a-box from Wal-Mart and really like it. It's not an RV mattress but the price tag was cheaper. I liked the idea of being able to return it if it wasn't comfortable but it has worked out really well. They had a couple of different Mattress-in-a-box with different levels of memory form to select from. I opted for the one that had a small box springs inside of it.

We got ours from WM as well; I liked the CW one, but WM wins the price war, as usual. It is 2" high density foam on the bottom and 2" memory foam on top. We use on top of the bunk end mattress on Ms Roo and sleep like a baby.

We also recently purchased a Tempurpedic mattress for my MIL (Craig's List) which sleeps heavenly and isn't as heavy as I'd thought it would be. It might be ok for a reg TT, I wouldn't use on a bunk end.

We went with a mattress cover/topper from Kohl's for our bed.

For all of the bunks, I bought custom-cut foam that matches the sizes of each bunk in addition to the existing "mattresses". My in-laws sleep on them and say they're really comfy.

3 inch memory foam topper from Target (as my co-worker says, yuppie Walmart). Works great!

This is what my wife and I purchased. It works very well. 3" of memory foam with 7" of support foam makes for an awesome combination. It was also very reasonable compared to the prices of other stuff. I think it was $299.

My trailer came with a futon mattress and even a 4" memory form topper wasn't enough. Gave the futon mattress to my sister to use for a puppy pad.

The topper made the WM mattress even better but I couldn't reach to climb into bed and it covered up the window lever.

Mattress toppers are a good way to improve the comfort of a mattress but I'm still very pleased with my WM mattress...but then I can climb into bed.

Wow - you have all given me a lot to think about. I didn't know there were so many options. The foam solutions look best to me, as at home we have a Serta iComfort (tempur-pedic like) mattress. I feel so spoiled by it, and it would be awesome to have the same comfort in our camper!

We ordered our 2013 5th wheel with the mattress upgrade and still put a 3" memory foam topper on it. Sleep like a baby now.
