Mattress Size

I would like to know what size mattress I have in our 2019 Salem 27RKSS? Is it a full size queen or short queen? Looking to replave the Denver 9" that came in it.

Safest answer is to measure it. Also, when ordering new, don’t just assume a sellers “Queen” is accurate. Look at the ‘dimensions’ to confirm it’s a match. Some of the foam mattresses from say Amazon come in a zippered cover so they can be trimmed pretty easily with an electric knife. When you’re done you can zip the cover back and no one knows but you.

The first thing I did when I bought my camper was to buy a new Queen size Leesa mattress. I'm 6'2" and when I was in the navy, I promised myself I won't sleep in short, uncomfortable beds anymore. This being my first camper, I didn't know they build the trailer around the bed and a RV queen is shorter than the one in your house. I lived with it for a year, being difficult to get in and out. I bought a Zinus full size mattress a year ago for my spare room. I didn't want to buy another mattress. Last month I swapped the queen into the house and the full into the trailer, worked out great.
