MFCO 1000 Watt WF5110H question

I have a Salem Hemisphere 337 BAR and the only thing I know about it I learned from RVing in 90s.. The invoice says it came with a 10.5 Cu Ft Whirlpool Residential Refrigerator, Type 11MTKA w/inverter.

Now I am assuming that the inverter is the one listed in the title (above) that is installed inside one of the bays under the coach. It's been OFF every since I took delivery of the unit. The manual for the refrigerator says it will switch to the inverter automatically when the shore power is disconnected. I assume also that it only does this if the inverter power is turned ON. I am further assuming that if I leave the power set to ON, it will switch automatically, but if I leave the Power OFF, nothing will happen whether I am connected to shore power or not. The refrigerator will have power when plugged in or it won't have power when not plugged in.

Further, I have read that on a long pull, the use of the inverter could drain the battery(s). However after a nine-hour pull with the inverter off, the food was still frozen solid and I see no real need to run it. Maybe that will change in the hot summer months.

I guess my questions are 1), is what I wrote true, and 2) does the inverter supply power to all of the 120V receptacles or just the refrigerator?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
