Over 70 posts and not one thing of use to anyone.
Really sad when you think about it.

Oh, wait...

Post 39 had a phone number for Forest River.

If you have issues with Forest River regarding your camper, the venue is with them. If you want to just rant, please take it elsewhere.

This forum is used to provide help for folks who need it not a podium for spewing bile.

If this thread does not stop being so goofy it will be closed for sure.

Well, can't help but put my "snoz" in this one. Can't help the original poster, and maybe can't help anybody except to remind us all, no matter what camper brand we have. The "OWNER" is "RESPONSIBLE" for the "MAINTENANCE" and "UPKEEP" of the RV. That means checking for water leaks, whether plumbing, rain, road spray, or or rain. The "OWNER" is responsible to ensure all seems are caulked and not leaking, seals on slides aren't leaking, etc. The "OWNER" is responsible for checking gas lines, sewer lines, plumbing lines, etc. The "OWNER" is responsible for tires, lights, hitch, and anything else to make the trailer road worthy. The "OWNER IS RESPONSIBLE"!!!! You have to do your part. Don't complain because you check your trailer every 6 months and find something. Why would you let a broken water filter mount go unrepaired? Why would you let a slide seal leak so long that floor started to rot? There are many examples. The problem is, we have so little trouble with our cars nowadays, and the fact that our trailer is on the road, we expect it to be like our car, virtually "trouble free". Bottom line, ain't gonna happen. Hook up to your house in the morning and take off down the expressway at 70 mph for 2 hours. Than when you get somewhere, park it, and level it one corner at a time, making sure you twist it good. Then hook up water and electric, and see what you have. When your done, take it back home, park it, twisting it good while leveling, hook it back up, and wait, something will be wrong, and it won't be pretty. Remember you RV is not a house, that has few problems. It is a vehicle that must be maintained, like a car and a house. Sorry for the long post, delete as needed.

Not only that, but why did he buy that camper in the first place? Ever hear about actually looking before purchasing?

sometimes engineering is a problem to. like my salem villa estate. city water comes in on left, goes under to right, meets up with 12v pump and filter, etc. then the cold goes off to the taps, but there is a line that goes back under again, then goes to the hot water heater which goes under again, back to the taps. doesnt take kitchen appliances to figure thats not proper plumbing! guess what im doing next spring!!
