Most end better than this...

Our first outing with the 30QBSS went well. The only real complaint from anyone was the water pressure in this unit verses the Gulf Stream. I hooked it up to fresh water at the house before we left and thought the pressure seemed low but really didn't give it much thought. While at the CG, the DW mentioned how she thought the pressure was better in the other unit. I am using the same regulator as with the Gulf Stream but big difference. Does this unit have a built in regulator somewhere?

We woke up to thunder Sunday morning so I quickly got dressed and started breaking everything down outside while the DW did the inside. We barley beat the rain and then made it home and parked before more storms hit.

We ended the day in or sons safe room while a tornado passed less than a mile from us. Our town is destroyed and several people lost their lives. Our neighborhood, home, family and friends were spared for the second time in three years. So despite anything else going on around me, I feel very blessed and am praying for those less fortunate.

Edit: I also forgot to mention that we went camping again Sunday night on our driveway when we lost power. Hooked the generator up and turned the A/C on!

Couple things.
Mother nature can be harsh .
It's sad to hear about those family's.

Have you tried city water without your regulator?

Have you replaced water filter recently?

Is it possible that the check valve is stuck ?

Sorry to hear about the loss in your area. Turbs made some good points with his questions. I'll add this one. Is pressure lower only in shower?

Thanks for the reply's and kind words.

I have not tried it without the attached regulator yet. I will.

I have not replaced any filters. This is a new unit and our first outing.

Where do I find the check valve?

Pressure is low throughout. Shower, both sinks and outside shower.

Glad you are safe. We are down in little rock. We have lots of co-workers around there. My wife's boss lost every thing, house and cars. He his wife and three year old survived in a closet and came out to nothing.
Anyway we have a 2014 30qbss also. We have not used the shower much but every thing else seems to have good pressure. I have read on here about kinked water lines due to build quality.
What size/type generator are you using?

pkt, Thanks. I had forgotten about the kinked lines. I had read those also and now need to check for that.

The generator is a 5000 watt Champion. We do take it with us, it is just used at the house for times like this. We now have the cable to back feed it into the house as well. Worked great before power was restored.

Where did you purchase your TT?

Razorback in hot springs. Took it down there on 4/5 for warranty work, a storm came through on 4/8 and tore up the roof. The parts just came in this week hopefully I can pick it up this weekend.

Another option:

I've read a few posts on here before about a bit of debris still in the lines left over from the manufacturing process. Supposedly you can just take the screens off the taps and clean them out and get better pressure.

pkt, bought our's from them on 4/4. Had to take it back due to a staple through a water line. Going out again in it this weekend. Sorry to hear about the roof. Those guys seem to be pretty good though so hopefully you'll have no more problems.

Kaadk, thanks for the suggestion. I'll do that tonight. Probably a good idea to do anyway even if it turns out to not be the problem.
