No electric from Battery.
We have a Salem Cruise Lite 181bhxl. Battery has full charge. Last trip battery would not power even a single light whether still hooked up to to tow vehicle or not. Everything works using shore power or a generator. Husband not at all mechanically inclined so wanted to find out if this is something simple like a reset switch or a fuse before we haul it in to be looked at.

Have you seen a switch like this?
Or this?
Some place like a storage bay or next to the battery.

Check for a blown fuse. And make sure it's 12v lights you are talking about as none of the outlets will work on just battery power unless they are connected to an inverter.

Look for a small fuse holder on the wire from the battery up under the left front corner of the frame. This is directly in line from the battery cables to the inside of the trailer.

Thanks for the images. I had already looked everywhere but the storage compartment for those things but found nothing. Will check that area next time I get over there. There is an enclosed metal box with red and black wiring from the battery lines that goes into it and out of it then connecting with what looks like the wiring bundle for the trailer. Is there a fuse in there? We didn't unscrew the plate or look inside. The interior fuses are all fine and no breakers thrown. Nothing electrical works off the battery, not even interior lights.

My trailer has a small in line fuse just before the electrical box on the trailer frame.
I is likely just a small black fuse holder with a snap open cap.

you could've tripped the little resettable circuit breaker that's usually tucked up along the A-frame. it's silver or gray and has a tiny black button you push to reset it.

Thanks everyone. Flybob's answer was the winner. Ours is located next to the wiring box up under the frame. Sure enough the button was tripped. Yay.

When I was trying to raise my jacks this morning I too had no 12 volt power so I had to hand crank the jacks which took me back a few years. I was on my way home from a 3 week trip to So. Dakota and was going to make it home to Little Rock today so I did not worry about it until I got home. Thanks to Forest River Forum and Ford Idaho my problem is fixed. In my hast to get on the road and get home I went putting my water hose up I knocked my power disconnet switch off and all I had to do was turn it back on. Problem fixed. I hope your problem is that easy and Thanks Ford Idaho for reminding me to check this.

Glad you did not have a more serious issue...
Disconnect switch could use a safety like the one for toggle switches...
