Owners Manuals

I downloaded the .PDF of the main "5th Wheel" owners manual but where would I find the manuals for the rest of the stuff on my camper. Like the stove and hot water tank and awning etc.?

Not sure why owners Manuel doesn't come with RV's when you buy them. I have 2019 wolf pup 18 TO and had to go to forest river site to download, which was useless btw!! And a Rep from forest river told me that 2018 Manuel was same for the 2019 models. I got NO information at all from the Manuel. I have found more info on this forum and just by looking at things and see how it works myself!! Good Luck!!

Obviously the lack of owners manuals provided when you buy a camper is a cost savings thing. I agree this forum and others are invaluable to gain knowledge but I like to have a manual with my when camping. For instance...If while camping where I have no internet, my awning decides not to go back in, how do I retract it? Things like that make a paper manual priceless.

A couple suggestions.
1. Library tab at the top of the page
2. The build sheet that came with the RV would list model and most likely serial number of the component. refrigerator, furnace, water heater, awning etc
3. Look on the component itself, for a mfr tag

Armed with that information you can Google it for a service manual and print one if you want a hard copy or save the .pdf

Thank you very much Jeff. I never knew there were manuals right on this site in the Library area. This site is more valuable than I can explain!

Another method is to go to the manufacturers' website for each piece of equipment specific to you rig.

Within the manual, go to "Appliances" and then "Kitchen." You'll find links to manuals for the stovetop, microwave, etc. Just look at the brand that you have, and there should be a link to your brand on the right side of the page.

I didn't see a link to awnings, but you can get them by going to the site for your awning brand.

Your dealer should've provided those manuals with your 2019 Salem.
I'd contact them and ask where are they.

We purchased a 2019 Salem 233RBXL and the appliance, Water Heater, Audio system, etc manuals were included. What was not included were manuals on the trailer itself. No info on hitch, stabilizers, wheels, tires, axles, plumbing or even maintenance and care.

I called the factory and was told to go here and download what I needed. So far I find they stuff on-line to general and not model specific. Forest River RV Online Owners Manuals

Since I purchased a 2019 and my appliance manuals were included I would contact the dealer.

Nearly ALL RV manufacturers only provide a generic owners manual with No model-specific information. Not even RV-type specific.
My TracerAir did have an axle manual from Dexter.

X2. Our dealer Yellowhammer RV in Clanton gave us the whole shebang from FR for each component in a zippered pouch: tires, hitch, appliances, awning, toilet, wh, each fridge, etc. Everything is in the TT along with tag registration.

All 3 of my RV purchases since 2011 have come with a very complete set of printed manuals. I also download PDF copies onto a USB drive to access while on the road.
