Big difference in RVing and camping for sure. I to grew up with the tent, and had fun with it. My kids, well, I guess I'll have to give them the tent experience one day, as they both started RVing at birth. My daughter's first bed was in the closet of a fifth wheel. I constantly promote "RVing" here at work. Most of these guy's wives think of it as "roughing" it. And I say, would you please just drag your wife down to a dealer and take her through one. I've converted a few, and they love it now. My sales pitch, like you mentioned, Our bathroom, Our things, No bed bugs, Our kitchen and on the list goes. It's a no brainer to me, but not everybody thinks like a RVer. Case in point, my dad. He and my mom travel a LOT, and they love their motels, and I tell him they can keep them.

At least in Heaven, RVs will be perfect, and I won't have to keep fixing them.

We actually started "RVing" when I agreed to be the SAG wagon for my DH when he was cycling. He did RAGBRA several times and MD, VA etc. I agreed to go if I had my own port a potty. I had a small chemi in my horse trailer and insisted on one for the trip. One thing led to another and the rest is history plus many great adventures.
