Picked up our Hemisphere 282RK Today
After actually signing the papers and doing the PDI two months ago, we finally picked up our 282RK today! It was way too cold to ask the tech to install the hitch two months ago, so the dealer said he would store the TT for free until we decided to pick it up. It took about an hour for the tech who specializes in E-qual-izer hitches to do the install. He nailed the setup right off the bat.
This is our second TT and E-qual-izer system. Our TV is in my sig. The TV tows this rig like it isn't even there. Even on hills. We are running a tune on the TV computer so we have a little more power than stock. The hitch system didn't even feel the semis passing us on I-95. We will take our first trip in two weeks. We will be participating in a BBQ competition and the outside shower will come in handy.
Now for a QUESTION: where are the dump valves? When I did the PDI I told the tech not to bother showing me because it was snowing. I figured they were by the sewer connection like our other TT. My bad.

Congrats on picking up your new Hemisphere 282RK. You're dump valves should be labeled on the drivers side.

That's what I figured. I crawled under the TT and the dump pipe comes out from the insulated belly, but no valves. The generic owners manual actually shows them in a cabinet. We are an hour away from the TT now and didn't have time to look further today. We will return tomorrow and look further.

OK, do you have a service bay where you hook up the fresh water hose? Might be in there.

No, but after lots of Google searches it seems the valves may be hidden by the insulation and are located right up against the side skirt. I will report back tomorrow.
Thanks for trying to help.

Thanks for the info! We went back today to where the TT is stored and found the valves. I had no idea they would be located relatively far away from the sewer connection. Our last TT, the valves were right next to the connection. Anyway, I read your message on my phone and was able to locate them easily.
It is interesting to see the difference between your pics of your 2013 model vs. our 2014. Our drains come out of the insulation and you don't see the other pipes feeding it. The grey water valve for the front tank is two feet to the right of the drain, not close like yours are. I will try to get pics next time we go to the TT.
Thanks again.

Good info to have, we're pickiing our 282 RK next Tuesday. I'll make sure the pdi tech goes over everying in detail. I'm supprised the valves would be so far from the outlet.
