Picking up my new 2008 26BH Tomorrow

This is my first post. I will be picking up my new 2008 Salem 26 BH tomorrow. Since this is my first TT and it's been sitting on the dealer lot for over a year, is there anything that I need to look out for during my walk through? Thanks in advance for any advice.

to FRF and Happy Camping.

The biggest thing to look for is any signs of leakage. Check the corners, around the slides, around the roof penetrations (skylight, vent, etc) for staining or soft spots. Search for the PDI list that's been posted here and elsewhere, print a copy and take it with you. Check things off as you go aver them. Don't be afraid to take your time, ask questions and go over things more than once.

take your time!!! water leakage is by far the most important thing to look for, try everything out. extend the slide a few times.check radio especially if its a concertone, open and close all windows, check for discoloration near windows, make sure rugs are dry and dont smell moldy.i agree with previos poster, get checklist. this is your best chance to insure you get a good camper. hook up water, run all faucets.dont take possesion until all is well. this should take a couple of hours, dont be rushed.. even things under warranty are a pain to get fixed after the sale. dont mean to scare you but this is very important that you do it right! you will be glad you did. good luck with your new toy
