We just camped in ours for the first time this past weekend.
The heater doesn't heat the bedroom the best while and it was only in the 40's at night. Other than that we have no other complaints. We need some more time with it to really know more.
This is my first 5er (previously had a TT) so they installed the hitch. I took about 2 1/2 hrs for the PDI as it was pretty cold and raining the day I picked mine up.
The camper has its own wifi setup. I'm not techy so I'm guessing modem and that is located in the bunk room behind the top dresser drawer.
It's not all it's cracked up to be. Mine won't connect if I'm in my truck and they specifically told me it would. It's a cool idea but needs some improvements.
Have it in my Hemi too and the range is limited and sometimes using it to operate the awning and LED strip will lock out the operation of the switches on the central panel. When I get board one trip this year, I'll pull out the controller and see what Lippert did wrong with the design there.
Didn't go far enough to use it. The problem for me is that when I had a TT it stayed plugged in on the side of my house all the time while stored. I don't have the space now to keep my 5er here so it stays on a lot where I can't plug it in.
Does anyone have issues keeping the camper cool. I just purchased a Salem hemisphere 368RLBH (2015). I live in Alabama and it's running mid 90's outside. I have both AC units on with living area thermostat set at 76 and it's running 82 in the living area and 77 in the master bedroom. With fan blowing the ad from the bedroom to the rear, and a fan circulating in the living room and BH.
