Porch Lamp Will Not Turn Off

Here's a head scratcher. I have a 2014 Salem 26TBUD I noticed that my porch light beside the door was on. I went to turn it off at the switch and it didn't turn off. I pulled all the light fuses and it stays on. I even pulled the light switch off away from the wall and removed the connectors and the light stays on. So without any current flowing to the lamp it still burns. Have you ever seen this and do you have a solution?

Yep. It's possessed. LOL Never heard of that one before and can't even begin to imagine what could be the cause. Any chance there is a switch by the rear door?

Only the one door and it's the only switch for that lamp. Thanks for the reply though.

Un hook the batteries and unplug the rig if the light stays on call the exorcist or buy a different trailer...... There is the possibility that someone at the factory hooked it up wrong......I know it's a long shot but it could happen...
Other thought is a screw going into a hot wore then the supply side of the light.... Dumb question has it always been on since the first day you had the rig or no issues till now....on and off normally before?

Porch Lamp Will Not Turn Off

Did you just get this unit? Has the light ever been off? Could it be solar without a switch.

Did your unit come with the touch screen remote? On my unit if the porch light is turned on with the remote it has to be turned off with the remote.

Gotta agree with RWWNC sounds like remote if your unit comes with it.

Agreed, I think anyone who has had the touch screen has had a moment with the porch light. ;-)
