Power jack

Just got my camper out of storage and had to manually crank the jack up. The power jack has a light on it which is working so I know it's not the fuse. What should be my next step to check?

Battery charge...takes a lot more power to run the motor than it does to run the light. Next thing would be ground connection. Stored covered or not? I've had two die from water intrusion (you'd think they'd be a little more water tight).

Power jack didn't work for first two trips but has started working again now.
