salem 27BHSS it functioned fine with 100 degree days and down to 55 degree with 30 knot winds and 2 inches of rain one night;.
any ideas on how to damper a door in a windy area to keep it from slaming open or closed. ALso any suggestions on a power tongue lift, and is there a mechanical override if power fails?

Hold tight and YES. There is always a manual override. Whether you got the jack handle or not is another question.
