Replacement mattress 174bhxl cruise lite

After my first 3 trips, I quickly realized I need a real mattress for the full size bed. So I measured it and it was 43x75. I see mattresses that match the length but not the width of 43 inches, most are 38 or way bigger. Is there a place to get the mattress I need without breaking the bank or should I just get a mattress topper? Thanks for the help

X3 on the topper. We use a Perfect Harmony topper from Camping World. Tremendous improvement.

Thanks for the info, that's what I was looking for. I wasn't sure if they made a special size mattress, but since they don't , time to roll to Sam's club for my mattress topper.

I went to The Mattress Hub. I picked up a great mattress from a few years ago (I'm thinking it was on sale for around $300.00). It has a zipper cover on it and its actually foam. The salesman said this is what he used in his tt. He un-zipped and removed the cover, trimmed the mattress to fit his tt and had the cover re-sewed to fit the mattress. He did mention you could just put it back in the zipper cover tucking the excess cover under the mattress. I ended up not trimming mine, I liked the extra length. To trim this mattress you just measure, mark it and sandwich it between two 1 x 4 boards with C clamps and use an electric kitchen knife to trim it. This mattress is very comfortable (actually like it better than my home $1600.00 mattress). When he said it was a foam mattress that could be trimmed I had my doubts on being comfortable. I laid on it and it was unbelievable. It's a Serta the tag is still on it if you want to know the model number. We like this mattress so much we kept it when we traded in our 2010 Passport for the new Windjammer which has a full queen so I was glad I didn't trim it.

The mattress is a Serta Apple Valley. It is 8 inch foam with a zipper cover. However, I checked the label and the model number is not on it. So I dug out my receipt and checked it. Unfortunately they didn't put the model number on it either. So I phoned The Mattress Hub and they told me that Serta has just discontinued the Apple Valley but Serta is replacing it with the Serta Avila. The guy told me that it is identical to the Apple Valley and you can view the Avila on the Serta website and it looks exactly the same.
