Rhino Flex sewer hose storage
When I tried to store the Rhino Flex hose inside the bumper it would not fit - the end pieces were just a tad too wide. Then someone here had mentioned that at certain angle the hose could fit inside so I dropped by the trailer to check it out. With the swivel fitting at a certain angle it does fit.
Now to decide which bumper cover to use to keep the hose secure during travel. Any suggestions on which bumper cover to use?

Now to return that over price storage container - it's still in the back of the car.

Terier, glad to hear. I will pass a warning. Make sure the end cap doesn't interfere with insert/ removal. Also, consider some kinda pull device to get it out. I posted this on the other thread as well. I use the stock end cap as it comes out and goes back in easily
"Here is how i get it out. I got real thin steel cable 1/32 or 1 /64 and wrapped and secured it behind the collar with those "U" shaped wire clamping bolts. The other end of the wire is poked thru a small hole then looped through the large hole on my bumper end cap. So i just remove the end cap and keep pulling.
I Will see if i can post some pics this weekend"

hose fit
Just wondering if you tried the other end of your bumper opening for the hose fit. i am lucky, on our Puma its a snug fit with the rhino , but it slides in. Maybe yours needs a litlle flair added to it , as far as the end cap, the black one with the hole in the middle works for us

I had to file the inside of my bumper so the sharp edges would not snag the Rhino Flex hose and after a fresh coat of paint it is easier to get the hose in and out. The stock bumper caps work for me until I see them start to shrink or loosen.

I had to file the burrs off the inside of my bumper also.
BE careful, I found my rubber end caps had come partially
out of the bumper after a long trip on 2 different occasions.
I was afraid they might come all the way out and then
I'd wind up dragging my sewer hose.
I drilled the ends of the bumper and stuck some home
made wire clips thru the bumper and rubber caps.
They stay firmly in the bumper now.

I think I will be keeping the sewer hose in the plastic container for now. Later I can address this matter when time permits.
Thanks for the heads up on the rough edges!

I keep the hose assembly in a sealed rubbermaid container. I use the same container to store the hitch and sway bars when parked. These two items are never in use at the same time so that little bit of storage space is used efficiently.

I seen an older camper with a big round PVC pipe attached to the bumper. Has anyone done this? How bad does it look on the newer TTs? My Rhino simply won't go in the bumper, and keeping it in the camper is obviously not my preference. I'm thinking about attaching a PVC pipe to the bottom of the bumper and painting it black, to hopefully make it blend in a little. Anyone done this or have any pics? Suggestions?

I have rhino 15ft sewer hose and it fits in the original square number on my RV
if you take off the ends...I keep the ends in a small rv wash bucket purchased at the dollar store for a buck.

How hard is it to get the ends back on? I can imagine trying to dump and not being able to get the ends back on...

They simply screw back on....counterclockwise, but with ease!

Instead of mounting PVC to bumper, mount it underneath and paint it black so it blends in more and isn't as noticeable.

How will my clearance be if mounting PVC underneath the bumper? What size (length and diameter) should I get?
Would you recommend putting some kind of divider in the PVC, and keep bleach/sanitation stuff on the opposite end? I fear that my bleach container could spill in the camper...
Sorry for all the questions; I'm a Newb

I should have been more specific, mount it in front of the wheels to frame. The TT I am selling has it done that way. I am going to do this to my 2012 Cherokee 28BH when I get time.

So I should try to mount it parallel with the frame, vs spanning across the whole camper and bolting to both frame rails? I found a couple pictures of those that mounted it parallel and it looks really good.
What diameter PVC should I get?
