Salem 27REI ac

I’ve owned several campers/ motor homes. Have never been really satisfied with ac in any of them. Even installed a second ac in the Thor Ace 30.1. Just bought this Salem. The ac is putting out some really cold air. Had it 70 inside with 92 outside. Wife is loving it! Domestic 15k.
I would encourage everyone to take the grill cover off and check the divider between the intake and exhaust. They do some sloppy sealing sometime.

Those things do a pretty good job when they're working right and installed correctly despite what some say.

There are some "less than stellar" installations, but once you get that fixed they do a decent job for their size.

I will need to do some looking on my 2020 27RE. We have a 15k Colman and it is not working very well. It was taking 20 degrees off the return air (80 degree entering 58 to 60 dischrage) but could not keep the unit below 80 on an 82 degree day. Wife not happy.

You need to remove the grill cover and make sure the divider is sealed properly. I’ve had 5 campers and none of them are installed very good. There are several good YouTube videos on this.
